I can’t believe I haven’t posted in well over a month….how odd of me, but not really given the fact that I have been trying to spend less time on the computer and more time in the gym. This has been both good and frustrating all at the same time. Thankfully my back has been MUCH better - still gives me the occasional twinge, but not limiting me as much in the things I can do. I have yet to go for a run with hills, but that will come up next week and if all goes well with that I can push even more ahead. Read the rest of this entry »

Today’s post is going to be a bunch of random gibberish, lol….
Why???? Because I have to play catch up for the last few weeks of not blogging, because i’ve been so busy being injured, working, and trying to get my butt in shape.
So here goes. Hopefully it won’t be totally confusing… If it is? Oh well. I tried.

So I managed to get through the week without back pain, until today. At the suggestion of my PT, I was to attempt running. Mind you, she only had 15 minutes of running in mind…whereas I went out and did 5 miles. Yup…and now I’m paying for it. Sigh….Oh well. So now I have weekly PT appointments to get myself back in line and strict orders to not run until told to do so, at which point, it will be only allowed to run 15 minutes. I am to walk until Sunday, preferably at a track. No biking until Sunday. Phooey. But, I am going to be more conservative at this point so I can successfully run my 12K in June and get myself riding my century rides. Off to put my ice pack away. Hope you are well.
